Find out more about our mission to improve mass spectrometry image processing.
Why we created HDIP
HDIP was initially developed by academic researchers to fill the need for a high-quality and powerful data processing and visualization tool for time-resolved mass spectrometry data, which does not rely on third-party software. HDIP is now being used as a development platform for cutting-edge reseach in the mass spectrometry field and as a reliable, qualitative and productive tool for routine approaches. The need for software build upon an open data format such as HDF was crucial here, as the data should remain accessible via interfaces of many programming languages, such as C, C++, python, R, Matlab, Java and others.
- We strive to deliver the most advanced laser ablation - inductively coupled plasma - mass spectrometry data processing and analysis tool available.
- Fast and strong user support is very important. All members of the support team have an academic background with years of experience in the field, for fundamental research as well as application-oriented research in a number of field such as bulk analysis, geochronology, isotope systems, and imaging.
- Have a problem you can't fix? Have an new idea on how to process data? Your ICP-MS produces data that can't be imported? We are there for you to create a solution.
- In development since 2015
Yours sincerely, Stijn J. M. Van Malderen, Senior developer of HDIP
